The Front Office and Family Liaison sits on the Operations Team. He/She is responsible for supporting College Bound Academy’s successful relationships with all families in addition to supporting the daily needs of a high functioning, efficient front office. The front office is the epicenter of the school and our main touchpoint for family communications. Approximately 50% of this role is comprised of scholar recruitment, the lottery process and the family onboarding events. During the school year, the Front Office and Family Liaison Coordinator is responsible for all family events, updates and communication, including social media posts and monthly calendars.
The Operations Associate works with the Office Manager to support the front office, the operations team and the Executive Director. The Front Office Associate sits on the Operations Team. He/She is responsible for supporting College Bound Academy’s successful relationships with all families in addition to supporting the daily needs of a high functioning, efficient front office.
The Dean of Support Services oversees Special Education Services and English Language Learning Services. The Dean coordinates all outside support services for students, including Speech, OT & PT. The Dean is also responsible for managing IEPs and all Scholar Advancement Teachers and Paraprofessionals.
College Bound Academy lead literacy teachers possess a strong desire to foster high levels of academic achievement. They are committed to continuing their own learning and refining their practice to stay current in the field, ensuring a quality education for all. College Bound literacy lead teachers are results-driven educators and passionate about transforming education in Tulsa.
The Instructional Coach has the primary job of driving academic and character outcomes for scholars and staff alike. The Director should focus 75% of their time on instructional leadership and coaching, specifically all of the activities involved in leading and developing teachers to improve their instruction and drive scholar achievement.
College Bound Academy math lead teachers possess a strong desire to foster high levels of academic achievement. They are committed to continuing their own learning and refining their practice to stay current in the field, ensuring a quality education for all. College Bound math lead teachers are results-driven educators and passionate about transforming education in Tulsa. College Bound math lead teachers are driven individuals who seek to help guide young students' first experiences with education while using a rigorous curriculum in a warm/strict environment.
An Associate Teacher is paired with a Lead Teacher and specific homeroom, but also supports all the teachers and scholars in the grade they are assigned to. They are charged with teaching whole and small group lessons and maintaining a strong growth curve in their teaching progress. Associate Teachers begin the year supporting behavior and leading small group literacy lessons. Eventually, they take on leading more content as the year progresses. Associates will be trained in executing small group phonics lessons and small group interventions lessons for scholars in their grade. Associate Teacher candidates should intend to become lead teachers within a year or two at College Bound.
College Bound enrichment teachers hold primary responsibility for the implementation and development of College Bound’s enrichment curriculum and the success of its students within the curricular area. Therefore, College Bound enrichment teachers are expected to be committed to continuously improving curriculum and instruction
Our Elementary Lead Teacher role is an opportunity for individuals who are results-driven educators, passionate about transforming education in Tulsa. As an Elementary Lead Teacher, you will be joining a team of driven individuals and helping to guide young students' first experiences with education using a rigorous curriculum in a warm/strict environment.
The Scholar Advancement Teacher works with the Dean of Scholar Services to provide special education services and english language services for scholars. The Scholar Advancement Teacher will focus on providing academic support for scholars in a resource setting and within the general education classroom. The scholar advancement teacher is also responsible for writing and managing IEPs for scholars who are on their caseload. The Scholar Advancement Teacher will ensure that accommodations and modifications outlined in scholar’s IEPs are being followed in all educational settings.
All College Bound Team members will have the opportunity to:
Engage in a month of Summer Development before scholars arrive for the school year.
Engage in a staff retreat over the summer to build strong staff culture before the school year.
Engage in 32 days of professional development annually.
Engage in professional development weekly.
Receive real-time coaching from an instructional coach (Dean of Curriculum and Instruction).
Have a grade-level team lead for development, coaching, feedback and extra resources.
Teach and master their designated subject area and/or grade level.
Work with a team of teachers across content level and grade level.
Engage in designated planning time daily and data-analysis time weekly..
